On May 29, 1959, brothers Dick and Norbert Borowicz announced they were buuilding a new golf course in the Shenango Valley area. The course would be a 9 hole Par 3 with yardages ranging from 85 to 200 yards with a par of 27. The greens would be regulation in size and there would also be a lighted driving range.

Plans to open were set for May 1, 1960, but due to a late Spring, the course and driving range opened on Friday, May 13, 1960

One of the highlights of the Par 3 came in June of 1962, when the famous touring pro Bob Rosburg played the course. He set the course record for both 9 holes and 18 holes, shooting a 24 for 9 holes then a 4 under par with a 50 for 18 holes. The record has been broken several times, but the current record of 5 under par with a score of 22 is still held by Peter Borowicz, Sr.

In 1988, the tradition continued with the son's of Dick Borowicz, Rich and Chris, making the announcement to build an additional 9 hole regulation golf course with a par of 36, adjacent to the existing Par 3. The course was opened in July of 1991.

The current course record on the regulation 9 is a 5 under par score of 31, held by Jim Grunenwald.

Today, the course is owned by Richard Borowicz and his wife, Enis.

Although there have been many changes to the course and ownership over the years, we maintain the family tradition that was the dream of two brothers in the late 1950's.
